A main characteristic of Oedipus that led to his downfall and that I noticed from reading was his way of presenting himself. His pride was his greatest flaw in the story. Although many people behave this way, as a way of discovering themselves, what led to Oedipus' downfall was that he felt he had to be responsible for his actions and that he had no say or control over those actions at cause of destiny. be blamed.
