I am learning a great deal in this course and expect to continue to grow and learn. I believe this course is aimed at all areas of ministry because it touches all aspects. Upon completion of this course, I expect to reach a new level and new appreciation for ministry. There is so much to learn and understand in order to be used in the Body of Christ. From this course I learned how a counselor responds appropriately to what the other person has to say. There are six different ways a counselor can respond to the other person because there will be different situations for different people. These six different ways of responding are: supportive, understanding, interpretive, investigating, evaluating, and consulting. The appropriate response would be supportive, understanding and interpretive response would be used for the tone setting phase. Investigation, assessment and consultation would be used for exploration
