Roads are not asphalted and vehicle movements increase the level of dust in the air and could be a reason for dust, especially PM10 level > guideline EPA. Fiadzegbe is located near the dirt road that connects the plant site and the Administration area. Particulate emissions created by the movement of vehicles along the transport road may have contributed to the dust levels recorded in this village. The high level of PM10 could be due to finer particulate matter suspended in the air for a considerable period and then collected by the sampling equipment. Other areas such as Atunsu, Boabeduru, Kwakawkaw and Obenemase which recorded lower dust concentrations may be due to less frequent transportation and the absence of dust generating activities. In Obenemase, for example, the roads are asphalted and no activities have been observed that could generate significant amounts of dust in the air. Furthermore, dust control measures, such as street watering in the administrative area, eliminate dust, which is reflected in lower dust levels
