What we become often seems predetermined by our circumstances as human beings. However, our nature is not and has never been invincible. Only those who have the strength, courage and patience to endure hardship are there to reap the reward in the end. But reality raises the question: How do we determine what our circumstances are? We have the expertise to make any change we want to make in our lives if it means enough to us. Isn't this why every human being lives? To satisfy needs? As a people, as a race, as a sect by nature, we have been predisposed to failure and difficulty. Over time, we have matured into a faction made up of individuals who exist for similar ambitions. We, as human beings, aspire to satisfy our needs, improve our lives, and ultimately succeed. We have been taught to possess certain characteristics to become adequate human beings. Characteristics such as kindness, sincerity, responsibility, etc. However, one notable trait that we often overlook and minimally discuss is generosity. But what defines generosity? A generous individual can be described as one who gives to others in need, but is only concerned with the condition of those who collect and not with his own contraction. By definition, authentic generosity requires including a certain degree of contentment. We must recognize the reality that granting goods by right to another individual means that we will own less of them. Next, contentment sets the stage for generosity. It is surprising that the practice of generosity leads to a further development of satisfaction in the donor. Given the current circumstances, our world is in desperate need of optimistic and altruistic donors. They move humanity forward… into the middle of the paper… where we choose to invest it. Our monetary dividends can be used to improve the quality of life of others. Financial resources can be used to promote safer, smarter and more responsible communities. They can be used to make this world a little more rewarding for everyone. On a smaller scale, a single generous act has the potential to revolutionize the life of an individual in need. While changing someone's life with your wealth of selflessness is essential, how you feel while doing so is also very substantial. By recognizing the effect you are having on someone's life, ease and complacency are inevitable. Taking some time out of your day to help someone in need can be very helpful. Whether it's lending a few dollars to a friend in need, helping a disabled person cross the street, or even helping an elderly person with their shopping..
