Equality. A concept that this nation has tried to achieve. But in the 21st century the question remains: are we equal? In the world of sports, participants from all over the world come together to showcase their skills and compete with each other. For many young people, reaching this level is a goal that requires a lot of skill to achieve. But for a woman such a goal is just a dream, because we live in a world where a female athlete is not accepted in society. In the 21st century, female and male athletes differ greatly. This opened up a new field in which women could get involved. Women could start in the minor leagues, then move up to the major leagues and pursue a career in sports. This was a very big step towards the women's rights movement in the athletics department...... middle of document ......html/?a=viewall>.Rodriguez, Ana. “Female athletes still face inequality.” Daily sundial.
