Topic > Emmett Till's Thesis - 1539
Emmett Till grew up much like me. He was taught who he was, but also warned about who he might act like. It means it's good to be yourself and be confident in who you are, but when you put yourself in a position where you could put yourself in danger, be humble enough to keep your mouth shut. Once again, just like me, Emmett was unable to control himself to prove a point and was killed as a result. As a leader there will be many people who will test you. Not necessarily to put yourself in danger, but very often to see if you will actually do it. It's up to you to be able to decipher whether this cause is a good enough reason to risk not only yourself but also yourself
