Leaders can get caught up in the demands of globalization and cultural characteristics by using different leadership practices and styles. Leadership describes a process that uses social influence to enable and pursue the contribution of subordinates in an effort to achieve a common organizational goal. Leadership challenge can describe how leaders organize others to make extraordinary things happen in organizations. Leaders can overcome the challenges of the multicultural workplace by turning values ​​into action, vision into reality, obstacles into innovations, and risk into rewards. Hollander (1985) defines leadership as the process of influencing between a leader and followers to reach group, organizational, or social groups. Some leaders are innate, however these days most leaders develop through education. The education system is a great place to develop leadership quality in the context of globalization. “Students are now consumers who define quality education from a global perspective” (Drucker, 1995). The current education system has been changed in Asia, mainly in Thailand, to create more efficient and effective leaders. There are many multinational and international organizations running their businesses across the world. Due to globalization, cross-cultural workplaces have become a challenge for the organization. The culture of the multinational or international organization is shared by the members of the organization.
