Mobile phones in modern society are a must for people. These gadgets have consumed our daily lives making it extremely difficult to live without them. Online shopping banking services can be done right in the palm of your hand. Yes, these devices are convenient, reliable, useful and make your life easier. But like everything in life, too much of anything is unhealthy. When abused, the major disadvantages of cell phones become apparent despite their far-reaching advantages. The maturation of mobile phones has brought convenience to the world. Communication between people is simple and quick. However, the disadvantages resulting from the rapid development of technology cannot be ignored. People are not the only ones affected by these issues, but society is too. Turkle's evolution talks about “'A 15-year-old I interviewed at a summer camp talked about her reaction when she went out to dinner with her father and he pulled out his phone to add “facts” to their conversation. “Dad,” he said, “stop Googling. I want to talk to you'” (Turkle, 2015). It's sad to hear how families can't even eat a meal without picking up the phone. Born as something to improve the quality of life, cell phones have become an epidemic in society, especially among teenagers and young adults. The problem is not in the cell phone. They are the people who are obsessed with their device and can't "live without it". It's absolutely ridiculous to see people's reactions when they lose their precious cell phone. Teenage girls act like their entire lives are ruined and there is nothing to live for without Instagram or Twitter. Adults will get angry and some will act as if they have lost their right arm! Do you see the problem? People like these are perfect examples of how their mobile phones are at the center of their entire being and play an integral role
