One need only look at the active rosters of many college teams or even professional teams to realize that the vast majority of successful athletes on their rosters come from club sports club rather than by high school practitioners or any other level in the field. The level of competition better prepares the athletes for their long seasons of hard work and great atmosphere. Additionally, club sports athletes' exposure to bigger and better colleges has made it easier for athletes to pursue their goals of turning professional. It's also much easier to keep up at those higher levels. Something you would never see from an athlete playing in high school. Club sports are what everyone should focus on. As actor Will Rogers once said when asked when someone should turn pro, "...not until he has earned everything he can..." If an athlete really needs to learn everything he can before becoming professional, must fall in love with the process and do what is useful. If a player has to go to hell and back to get better and be ready, then so be it. The best way is not always the easiest way. Sometimes you have to take a step back first to move
