Portugal is my choice of a real dreamIntroductionPortugal is a real dream. The land, the people and the culture attract me like a magnet. It's my first choice as the best place in this world. The landscape is varied despite the small area Portugal covers. There are sandy beaches and golden plains, but also mountains and modern cities that compete with sites with a thousand-year-old heritage. You can become one with Mother Nature in Portugal. The climate is Portugal's biggest advantage. Football is Portugal's national passion. Here you can indulge in water sports, winter sports and golf while sipping wine and local cuisine. Point of DestinationAccording to Serra, Correia, and Rodrigues (2014), Portugal is the point of entry to the Schenegen zone, the regions comprising 26 countries in Europe that have eliminated border controls such as passports. Visa policy is common. The Schengen Area encourages the free movement of goods, money, information and people. Many speak foreign languages, especially English. Portugal is geographically located in a strategic point: three continents meet here: America, Europe and Africa. There are international airports throughout Portugal. It takes just two and a half hours to reach Paris or London from Lisbon, the capital of Portugal. The town is connected by modern roads. It takes six hours to get to Madrid. For nine centuries, Portugal's borders have been well defined. It has a stable democratic government. It has been a member of the European Union for over 26 years. Portugal ranks high among developed countries. It enjoys the highest GDP growth rate in 4 decades among OECD (Organization for Economic and Trade Development) countries. According to a survey……half of the document……or Serra, Correia & Rodrigues (2014) most Portuguese people are Roman Catholics (81.0%). In this tolerant country there are small numbers of Protestants, Mormons, Muslims, Hindus, Orthodox Christians and Jews, among others. The traditional religions of Africa and China have also had an impact. In a 2012 study the number of those who had no religion increased from 8.2% to 14.2%. Most festivals and holidays in Portugal are of Christian origin. Portugal, however, is a secular state today. Conclusion The polite Portuguese are friendly and welcome everyone without discrimination. People from every corner of the world knock on Portugal's doors. The unfolding history of Portugal pushes me to join the birds, to nest there and to invest in property to enjoy a life of permanent vacation.
