All these five characteristics play an important role in making the cover letter intriguing, showing the essential requirements that candidates can meet and the positive and serious attitude of the candidates towards that job. However, it is not fair to judge a good cover letter based only on these five elements. It is also important if the job seeker writes his cover letter from the heart and sufficiently expresses his true emotions towards that job.
