As the name suggests, task-oriented leadership is more about creating tasks, setting deadlines, and ensuring that the task gets done. While this leadership style is effective, it can become dehumanizing, so people-oriented leadership integrates well with task-oriented leadership. People-oriented leaders will listen to employees' opinions on how a task can become more effective, how to make the work environment friendlier, and in return will try to implement solutions to employee concerns. This can help a company because it makes employees feel important and allows employees to be recognized for their good work and ideas. When transformational and managerial leadership are combined, this is known as path-goal leadership theory. In this theory, the leader would choose what type of leadership skills to display in a given situation. It is also important to point out that a leader will have a preferred method that he or she will want to demonstrate more often than others. This theory resonates with me for two reasons, one, I personally think this is the best method and secondly, it covers some areas that a direct transformational leader or a managerial leader might miss due to lack of
