Moore's work has a total of thirteen chapters filled with information that helps the reader better understand different cybercrime threats such as computer hacking, identity theft, child pornography, and financial fraud. Moore also delves into detail on different law enforcement tactics that help catch cybercriminals, such as seizing digital evidence, executing search warrants for digital evidence, computer forensics, and cybercriminology. Moore's primary goal is to help the reader better understand the cybercrime plaguing the world today. Through reading this book, I can validly say that Moore's in-depth work, perspectives, and examples have helped me better understand high-tech cybercrime and also investigative strategies. During our classes this semester we learned about different types of ways cybercriminals can invade someone's privacy such as hacking, phishing, and spamming. Furthermore, we also briefly discussed some notable cyber attacks. Moore's work examines these characteristics more closely. Some of the notable cybercrime topics Moore covers are digital child pornography and child abuse in cyberspace, online harassment, cyber stalking, and identity theft. In addition to these, it is also important to consider the strategies that law enforcement agencies need to adopt to stop cyber criminals. Moore's other goal is for the reader to know the steps law enforcement takes to stop cybercrime and how difficult it can be. When examining digital evidence seizure, computer forensics, and cyber criminology, the reader can accurately understand these adopted strategies. Finally, I would recommend Moore's work to anyone who wants to learn more about high-tech cybercrime. Moore provides an informative text with review questions, further reading, and online resources, making this text an excellent learning tool, teaching guide, and good, informative read.
